As we may be aware, the formation of the Caricom Single Market and Economy (CSME), member States will be required to certain conditions as the free movement of services. Member States that are part of the CSME will be required to remove any restriction for one to be able to provide service in individual member states.

Antigua Barbados Belize Dominica Grenada Guyana

Jamaica St.Kitts StLucia St.Vincent Surinam Trinidad
Already certain Member State has free movement of certain professionals such as university graduates (as Artists, Sports persons, Musicians, Entrepreneur and to a less extend self employed).

As a consequence human resources across another member States is a fundamental aspect of the free movement of person within the Caricom region, this will definitely open the Caricom labor market and thereby increasing the region human resources. It is within this light, that I stress on the value of education so as to secure your best employment opportunity.
The importance of education is quite clear; when you acquire education you are in fact putting your potential to the maximum use.
The training of human mind is not complete without education, which is a fact; Education makes you a right thinker and enabling you to make better decision.
It is with this thought that I have established the St. Lucia Chapter of the National Association of Certified H0me Inspectors.
The Objective of the St. Lucia Chapter of National Association of Certified Home Inspectors is to provide low cost, high quality certified continued education to trades professional such as Electricians, Plumbers, Real Estate Professionals, Air Conditions service personals and its members in the Home Inspection and the construction Industry.

Home Inspection accomplishes two important goals especially to h0me buyers,
First, it gives you a chance to determine the condition of the home, its structural soundness and the condition of its mechanical system.
Secondly, it brings any problems to the sellers’ attention at the time when they can be resolved before closing the sale.
Note: If you sign a contract before inspection, consider including a clause that the sale is contingent upon a satisfactory structural inspection and specify when the inspection is to be carried out, that way you are protected.
A comprehensive inspection includes a visual examination of the structure from top to bottom, including air conditioning systems, the interior, plumbing, electrical system, the roof, wall, ceiling, floors, windows, doors, the foundation, basement and visible structure.
Following the examination, the inspector will provide a report that not only points out possible defects or area of concerns, but also the positive aspect of the structure as well as the type of maintenance that will be necessary to keep the home in good shape.

Even the most experience homeowner, lacks the knowledge and expertise of a professional inspection firm, for example, water marks in the basement may indicate a chronic seepage problem or simply may be a result of a single incident.
A professional assessment will provide complete information about the condition of the property you are considering and will help avoid any unpleasant surprises after the sale.
In addition, a home inspector can remain totally objective, while you, as a prospective homebuyers may be emotionally involved.
Property inspection is not limited to residential properties, many inspector help homeowner with analysis and solution to specify problems such as conservation, wet basement, and cracked foundations. Inspectors also inspect work upon completion to ensure that a contract has been properly fulfilled.
If you are considering purchasing a home, the St. Lucia Chapter of the National Association of Certified Home Inspectors can advise you on the need for engaging a qualified inspection firm.
-- Buying a home is one of the biggest decisions you will ever make.
