CERTIFIED WELL SAMPLER Course
(rated #1 course in the industry!)
Certified Well Sampler is a unique course, designed specifically for home inspectors and those who collect well water samples for testing. The course examines many aspects of wells and their functionality, including construction and operational methodologies, red flags, and water quality. Even for those who do not collect samples, information presented in the course will expand the inspector’s ability to assess potential situations which could lead to well contamination, aside from providing a broad explanation of wells and how they work.
Topics covered in this program include well components, characteristics, contaminants, operation, sampling methodologies, holding times, health factors, safety, environmental factors, and national guidelines.
Well testing involves more than drawing a quick sample. Well characteristics, construction, and general proximity to any number of potential sources of contamination, can and do affect water quality. Many individuals who draw samples for water quality testing often operate under a cloud of incorrect information and misconception. Common mistakes are regularly made, ranging from missed clues prior to samples being drawn, to care and custody of those samples, including allowable holding times. Finally, a course has been crafted specifically for those who engage in water quality sampling, and is an absolute must-have for any inspector offering these types of services. A certifying exam is given at the conclusion of the course.
Certification is offered exclusively through the National Association of Certified Home Inspectors, the nation’s premier home inspection association.
